About the Event:

Sophie Mackintosh is joining Open Book Club for a virtual author talk on The Water Cure and feminist utopias.

If it's your first time, here's how the talk will work:

• Sophie lives in England, so instead of the usual IRL interview, she's going to do a virtual talk with us.
• Sophie will read a short section from The Water Cure, then I'll interview her for 30 minutes, followed by a 15 min audience Q&A. Because of the virtual format, it will be more of a guest lecture than a casual conversation.
• You don't need to finish the book beforehand. Some people like to read it first, others after. The conversation will be accessible and interesting either way.
• Your ticket includes drinks throughout the event 🍷

Refunds + Exchanges: I'm not able to offer refunds or exchanges for future meetings. This is a small (1 person!) business and I have to cover costs in advance of the event. Please consider this (and double check your calendar!) before buying a ticket.
